Altar GuildMembers of the Altar Guild prepare the holy table for worship services and clean and put away the vessels after worship. They also purchase candles, communion wafers, vestments and other items used in worship.

Flower GuildTwo members of the guild arrange flowers for Sunday services. The flowers are arranged in small containers the following week, and delivered to church members celebrating special events or in need of cheering.

Lector and ChalicerLectors are parishioners appointed by the Rector to read the first scripture during the Sunday service. Chalicers are licensed by the Bishop to assist the priest by distributing wine during the Holy Eucharist.

Lay ReadersLayreaders are licensed by the Bishop to assist the clergy during services. They read the second scripture and lead the Prayers of the People. Layreaders may conduct Morning and Evening Prayer in the absence of the clergy.

Lay Eucharistic MinistryLay ministers bring a special service and communion elements to parishioners and seniors in the community who are unable to attend worship services at church.

Acolytes and CrucifersTwo acolytes and one crucifer lead the processional and assist the celebrant at the Gospel reading and with preparation of communion at the 10:00 A.M. service.

Ushers and GreetersAt each service, two members of this ministry greet worshippers, distribute service leaflets and assist in seating individuals attending church services. Other duties include collecting the offering, and helping with the flow during communion. After services, members gather service leaflets and return hymnals and prayer books to their designated locations.
